Before starting at Tom’s Guide in August 2024, Lauren was a freelance content writer who created quality, insightful articles for brands like PetRadar, The Dragon Trip, and the Learning Adventure and charities like Surfers Against Sewage. She’s also led writing teams as an editor and project manager for content agencies like Quuu.

Lauren’s freelance work included acting as an SEO consultant, conducting keyword research and site analysis to create content strategies that boosted traffic, rankings and authority.
Alongside her professional career, Lauren continues to further her academic and creative work, pursuing a Master’s in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University.
Here, she is working on her first novel: a contemporary literary romance which explores the tumultuous process of growing up as a woman in a misogynistic world. Lauren also writes short stories and regularly enters competitions and prizes throughout the year.
